Windows 9 Technical Preview Support 8K Displays

Microsoft's upcoming Windows update will support higher resolution display, according to a new leak.Windows 8 had issues supporting devices with high DPI (dots per inch) resolutions.
With the Windows 8.1 update this improved, as Microsoft introduced DPI scaling improvements with the 4K display technology. The improvements focused on optimising the usability and readability of high DPI displays, providing a uniform experience on multi-display systems, and empowering developers to optimise app-specific scaling based on display DPI.
Windows 9 will reportedly support devices with double the resolution of than Windows 8.1 can support. It has emerged through a leak that Microsoft's upcoming Windows 9 OS will support high resolution displays up to 8K (7680x4320).

The Windows builds given to partners reveal new 768 X 768 pixel icons. This is a good indication that Microsoft has listened to the criticism and has gone through great lengths to fix it, not only the icons support new sizes of up to 768×768 pixels, but also the system resources and Zoom system have been updated to support high-DPI screens as i said.

Recently, Dell announced the new Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor, the world’s first display with Ultra HD 5K resolution (5120 x 2880). Ultra HD 5K is equivalent to four times the resolution of QHD and seven times the resolution of Full HD. This upcoming Windows 9 improvement would be a welcome change for customers who buy this Dell’s new display
